    Luis Villafuerte's master plan to ruin Naga City is to keep Camarines Sur poor. That would lead to a mini-Metro Manila effect for Naga City when people move there in search of economic relief. Eventually, overpopulation will take its toll on Naga City.

Leni Robredo's non-stop self-promotion: Can't wait to be President?

While Leni Robredo is “waiting for something to happen to the president”, she spends her time in numerous PR activities. Nothing new there, but today I saw a couple of pictures that bothered me. Here is Photo 1 , taken Aug 24, 2016 at the Jesse Robredo exhibit that was mounted in Gateway mall, a property owned by the family of Mar Roxas. Here is Photo 2 , taken Aug 29, 2016 at the launch of a Jesse Robredo book in Fully Booked BGC. What do you notice about these two photos? The design of the visuals is very reminiscent of the imagery associated with Philippine presidents. Photo 1 shows a classic “trooping of the guard” image. Photo 2 shows a book cover with a head bust that has a Philippine flag prominently displayed in the background. Does the late Jesse Robredo, as respected as he was, warrant this level of presidential imagery? Most of his political career was spent in Naga City. If suicide is a sin, why did God kill himself?

In view of the upcoming Lenten Season, here's a thought (don't take me seriously). Christianity condemns suicide as, it claims, our lives are not our own. Hence, committing suicide earns one a special place in hell as, in the eyes of God, it is equal to committing murder. However, it is a little known fact (or maybe it just went unnoticed) that the so-called "greatest act of love" professed by Christian scripture is a form of suicide. In Christian dogma, God is one being existing in 3 forms: the Father, Son and Holy Ghost. Jesus (the Son) was sacrificed by Yahweh (the Father), to be crucified and to descend to hell, just to "save" mankind from its sins. So if we go by the logic of all given information so far, then it would follow that God basically committed suicide to save his creations.
